The middle of the day had all the villagers off doing errands or hunting for the lunch and dinner, but many of the women who did not hunt were working in the out fields where they gathered herbs, mushrooms, cleaned the clothing and watched many children. Mono, fortunately, was one of these young girls who were out messing in the fields with one of her friends. However, she knew that going further into the forest would be the "forbidden zone" where the forest ended in a verdant field that lead to a large structure in the background.

Mono saw a bunch of other young boys running to hunt near the forbidden zone, but no one saw them other than her. Mono laced up her boots, settled a small knife that was given to her as a gift of 'coming of age' so she could possibly fend off anything in the forest. Those boys didn't know what they were doing, they could get banned to the Forbidden Land if they walked onto the bridge.

Looking into the fields, she didn't think anyone saw her before she scurried off to follow the children by herself, which was probably a ignorant thing to do. The girl with the the raven hair and white-tunic disappeared into the wilderness looking for where the boys might have gone on her own.

If she was lucky, someone might have seen her go alone.
